Prerana Mahadev is a film actress, hailing from India and popularly known as Rinku Rajguru. She had worked in Marathi cinema and has appeared in various movies. She was born on 3^rd June 2001, Akluj, Maharashtra, India where she grew up and studied till 12^th standard. She is mainly known for the movie “Sairat” for which she became popular.

Career

In 2013, she met the director, Nagraj Manjule who asked her to give audition for the role in the movie “Sairat”. She accepted his offer and gave audition for the role and she got selected. Rinku then took the start of her career with the Marathi debut movie “Sairat” which was released in 2016.

In 2017, she appeared in “Manasu Mallige” which was in a Kannada project under the production of Zee Entertainment and Rockline.

In 2019, she worked in the “Kaagar” which was a Marathi movie and directed by Makarand Mane.

In 2020, she appeared in the Marathi movie “Makeup” and in the same year, she gave another appearance in the movie “Jhund” which was her first Hindi movie directed by Nagraj Manjule.

Fortunately, in a brief time of career, she won the two awards for her Marathi debut movie “Sairat”.

Achievements

In 2017, she was honored with the Filmfare Marathi Award for the Best Actress Award for the movie “Sairat”. Also, she won the National Film Award for the category of Special Mention (Feature Film) for the same movie.
